XPF XR discontinued???

Purchased a quart off of eBay and received a quart of XPF Pro instead. Seller says they are discontinuing the XPF XR and only making one oil, the XPF Pro. Anyone know anything about this? I know the oils are supposed to be compatible but I have ran the XR since day one without any problems. Aside from that it is a highly rated oil by many sources. I have ran into problems with automobile engines when changing oils. I am afraid the seals will start leaking if I change now. The engine is a 2004 90 V4 (purchased new in spring of 06). Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

The pro will not cause seals to leak. I haven't heard of discontinuing the xr.

XR is a done product. The Pro is the new stuff per BRP.

Thanks for the info guys. There is some "old" XR stock still out there, but I guess it comes down to changing now or later, but change I will have to do it seems. Bummer. Very few changes are for the better these days. Curious to see if this oil rates as well as the XR. Time will tell I guess.

Are there compatability issues with XR vs. Pro? I have almost a full quart of XR left, and I really don't want to just chuck it. Can the 2 be used together?
