Neighbor blew the 200 Opti on his Triton this past weekend. Believe its around an early 2000's year model. He's looking for a couple places to call that do good work for a fair price, and will have a warranty (1 yr) on what they do. This late in the year he can leave it with them all winter if need be. Willing to try any place between Indy on down to KY Lake.
Any recommendations from you guys that I could pass along?

The rebuild is easy for any competent mechanic. Finding what caused it is the key.
Take it to Sportsman Marine across from the Inn by the Lake......Brad is great
If it was me I would take it to Sherm's Marine. Quailty work at a fair price. I don't think you'll find a 1 year warranty on a rebuild but you will if you get 1year with a Merc rebuilt powerhead.

If i was him i would get a reman from Mercury and not worry with a rebuild with only a 90 day warranty. The reman will have a full one year warranty and is by far the best way to go.

Another vote for Sherm. He knows Mercs and would have plenty of time to work on it during the winter.
