These were in practice...

This one was 4.6 on the scale and over 21". Biggest SM I've caught on a lake other than Dale and the biggest on anything other than a jig. Slammed a crankbait and scared me to death. Almost makes me want to move north so that I can power fish SM a lot more.


This one also slammed a DD22 and was 5.3 on the scale. It hung off of the end of my 22" board so it was a monster.


Had others too, had a few over 6lbs. Bite definitely slowed down from the rally, not bad fishing at all, just had to slow down. Had a god time. Going to head back here in a few weeks and get some night fishing in.

Those are awesome. Had to be fun on the crankbait. Going Tuesday out there for a few days with my son. Will definitely be throwin the deep crankbait

Don't be afraid to drag a jig and carolina rig! Good time to be had but most of the quality fish came fishing slower. He'll have a ball catching some decent fighting fish on the crank though!
