    livewell control switch help?

I have a livewell switch that is hard to switch from auto to empty to recirculate. I took the valve apart to check for an obstruction but it was clear. One cable is about 3ft longer then the one that works ok. Does anyone know if I need to replace with a shorter cable or a whole new valve and cable. It's on a 201 Stratos. Are the cables generic or do you have to get the manufacturers model if that is the problem?

    Thanks any info.

Re: livewell control switch help? (201 Pro)

Does it move OK when the valve is unhooked from the cable, or is it still tight with the valve disconnected...If still tight need a new cable...If not tight, then something is wrong in the valve...

It's tight with cable unhooked from valve. I'll try a new cable first. Thanks, always helps to hear from someone else.
