Greg and I usually don't get out on the water on holidays but....we decided to get out early for a little while before some of the craziness started.....

Caught several early fishing the banks, went to the ledges but that wasn't working too well either. We headed over to the east side of KY.

With the boat sitting in 5 ft of water, casting to the bank, this little lady decided to make my day a little better...it was 12:15 in the afternoon.

It was almost eerie how few big boats were out down our way. Stayed out much longer than we had planned. Found out why the main lake was deserted.....they were all in Blood River

Nice fish Deb! I was on the North end till about 10 this morning. Traffic wasn't too bad, but I decided not to push my luck, and loaded up.

Nice fish. I stayed on the north end til noon and it was getting crazy. We estimated 300 boats leaving the canal heading to the party bay. I don't think I will venture out again until after Monday.

Nice fish Deb! Those Timber Pups are great lures!! I didn't get the boat out at all this weekend and won't either. Too many nuts on the water and it's been storming here for two days anyway.

Thanks Deb. Me and Kenny got out on Barkley early a little while on Sunday. We got off the water at 12:30 and it was nuts, should have left at 11:30.

We caught several fish on Timber Pups as well.
