Ky Lake Water Predictions

Anyone have any ideas or prediction of what the water level will be like by the 8th? Or if it will even be fishable. I live about 2 hours from there and we are suppose to have a club tourney this weekend.
Here is Bowling Green water is rising like I have never saw it rise before. Rain guage showed 10inches since Friday Night.

Predicted to be around 364 through wed. and then start falling.

seen on a link they are going to pull 230,000 from barkley and 250,000 from ky due to the nashville flooding.i don't anything about how that affects the level,there is alot of water going in.the small rivers here are rising at 7-8" per hour and all that goes to the ohio too,so ky and barkley may not be able to be pulled that hard that long.don't really know.

We just got in from a rally on Pickwick this weekend. We like to never got through Nashville!!!!!!!!!! I re-routed myself more times than a drunk walking home!!! After we left Mississippi...it got HAMMERED so my guess is that we will see A LOT of that rain on Ky!!

Predicted to be at 367 at the dam and 369 to 370 south of Paris Landing now. This is for Wed. Lots of water.

Over 365 this morning and predicted to be 367.2 Wednesday

Just checked it and now it's at 367.4 by Wednesday and still raising.

Just hoping they keep it below 370. I guess I should have moved it to even higher ground .

If they keep pulling what they are pulling, I dont think it will go to 367, that is if the inflow figures are accurate. The wild card is the ohio river gage at Cairo. If it hits 50-ft, they have to throttle back releases to prevent flooding Cairo. Looks like for the last few hours they have managed to hold the level just above 365.

The projected releases show a reduction in discharge mid-week. Not sure if this is based on the Ohio River situation or because of reduced inflow.

All i can say is that we dodged a big bullet since there was not a major high water event occuring on the Ohio when all this rain it the Tennessee-Cumberland River drainage.

What's the word on Barkley? I would think it's more prone to flooding since it drains all of Nashville...

I don't know about dodging a bullet....the Ohio River here in Louisville isn't going to crest until Thursday - we'll be almost to flood stage. Paducah will see moderate flood stage on Thursday. We'll just have to see how it plays out...

Below both dams looks like a ocean with the high water splashing down on the river. It will stay like that until it hits a stage where it will flood Paducan and Cario then they will be forced to hold it back can you say 370

Was there today. Ky lake isnt bad at all. There was some debris but not bad if you use common sense I fished on KY all day and the water is stained to clear depending on where you fished... Barkley on the other hand was a chocolate milk mess with debris every where. I have been told that they will hit 370+. This was told to me by a state official and Fire and Rescue when they were moving people out of there homes by Knoths BBQ by the Barkley Damn..... It is just unreal the amount of water that is coming in and going out of these lakes.... I have a pic of below the barkley damn if i can get it loaded .....
