I have a stratos with a 97 evinrude intruder, maybe 98, either way it was a one owner boat until I bought it and used leisurely and not run hard. I haven't ran it too hard in 2 years either. What's he best 'rude oil for it and/or another oil brand?

XD50 should do it fine.
XD100 is better, but most would call it unnecessary in a '98 model V6.

I'm just upgrading to XD-30, I told my motor about it and she is exicited. I hope she doesn't hear you blabber mouths talking about XD-50, she will be unhappy and start causing me problems. I decarb twice a year and she thinks it's like a colonoscopy.![]()
