Does anyone know of any hotels around the lake? I know about the state park lodge. Our club is having a trny. down there in sept. and we are needing some rooms.

There is a small motel just before you get to the state ramp, we stayed there a few years back, not bad had a restrant just up the hill (within walking distance)
Pine Tree INN (I think)
Yeah pine tree inn. walking distance from the lake. several places to eat within a few miles. its just past the state ramp. about a block. Also the state campground, and Axtel campground, and laurel branch campground if anyone is interested in camping. I am trying real hard to think but i cant remember any other motels. I have a place there but i have never really paid that much attention to hotels, there should be more somewhere around the lake i just cant think of any.

Has anybody stayed at Pine Tree Inn recently. I stayed there once after Mike and Tammy sold it but haven't been back since. Just wondering if it went downhill.
Satyed there 2 years ago, was not as nice but not terrible.
