I dont think it will bother Cal the least bit. I think he is the best thing since Pitino, and I beleive they coach alot alike. I beleive he realizes we have a better record than we have played as well. I dont beleive many people pay much attention to Bobby anyhow, the wheel is turning but the hamster fell off along time ago!
Bobby Knight is an egotistical loudmouth...he used to like smacking his boys around and throwing chairs on the court...yea thats what I want in a coach

So why does John Calipari get a better house than me?" God chuckled, and said "Bobby, that's not John Calipari's house, it's mine

Whether you like Bobby Knight or not, makes little difference. Sure he was an idiot when it came to dealing with players, school administration, fans, etc. But...he was never...and I repeat never accused of any NCAA violations during his coaching tenure anywhere. What he says about Calipari, was just the facts, plain and simple. Does that mean Cal is a bad coach or will be involved in NCAA violations again...no...but it does mean that Cal is an example of a coach who has been somehow involved in NCAA violations and is still able to keep on coaching.

Bobby Knight just can't handle the fact that he is not relevant anymore. I always wondered why the coward would never come to Lexington to play the home and home series!
Bobby Knight is Bobby Knight he says what he wants when he wants. And doesn't care about the backlash. I think he actually likes it. The thing I saw I did not like was the comment from one of those sportscenter wannbe's on the day shift was "Kentucky fans are so crazy they wouldn't care if Manson was the coach" That shows you why she's on day time and i hope not for long. Obviously she does not know what she is talking about.

Coach Cal always manges to get moving before the ncaa investigation starts. He isn't any better than any other bad coach. Sampson was IU's, and hopefully for KY it doesn't turn out the way it did for IU.
Knight was a good coach who thought he was untouchable at IU. He found out that wasn't true, but he didn't leave the team in a state of violations. Its not like he was the first coach to ever lay hands on a player, and when he started coaching my guess is it happened alot. Times changed, and he didn't.
Good luck KY with your coach, but don't be surprised the year after he takes another job about the violations and sanactions.

Bill, maybe you can explain Coach Cal's involvement in these 2 situations to me then. Because the NCAA can't since he hasn't been personally named in ANY of the allegations. While you're at it, you can also tell me ANY coach in the country, including Knight, that wouldn't have played Derrick Rose after he was cleared by the NCAA clearinghouse? UK did their due diligence with the NCAA prior to hiring Cal and made sure that he wasn't in any hot water with the NCAA.
