Cheap Tile in Louisville - any suggestions?

    Guys,

I need about 200 sf of tile for my basement. Not real picky on the color, since it's for the basement - any light sandy or grayish color will do.

Between Home Depot and Lowes, cheapest I've found is $0.67 per sf

There's got to be a mom and pop store somewhere in town with tile cheaper than that. Any suggestions?

Scott...Look up DMS floor covering. Its real close to your house over off Fegenbush or something. Debbie Ditsler is the owner. Tell her I told you to call.

She's a new business (well fairly new) and helped me out a ton when I bought carpet at mine. I work with her husband.

If you turn right on outer loop coming from your house, go down and turn left just past that city building, go to stop sign and turn right, it'll be up on the left. I think that is Fegenbush right???

From my experience $.67 sq ft is cheap as dirt... I don't know what your expecting but that is a pretty low price from when I shopped around to do 1200 sq ft.... I paid about $.80 sq ft after doing the research and weeding through the cheap stuff.

I kind of thought it was cheap too, but I always have to question the stuff you get at Home Depot and Lowes.....usually elsewhere you can find better quality for either the same or cheaper price at a mom and pop that has far less overhead and overall expenses.

I'll check in with that place Alliston mentioned - as a matter of fact I think my wife mentioned seeing it the other day and thought we should check it out.

    Thanks Matt!!!

The cheapest place to buy tile is the Tile outlet in Clarksville TN. They are a real outlet for a tile factory located in Clarksville.

TN Sorry not close to you, but for sure the cheapest for good tile. Not worth the trip for 200 sq ft.
