College Fishing Weigh in At Murray State

Hey Guys,
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, the College Fishing Regional will be on Kentucky Lake and the Weigh-in will be at Roy Stewart Stadium Sat, Sun, and Mon. There will be raffles, food and giveaways. Also, Compete in the National Guard Warrior Challege with events like Rock Climbing, a high ropes course, and paintball!!! Come out and support the College tour, I know FLW is struggling Financially now and if they do not get good turnouts to the college events, it will probably be high on thier list to get axed.

Saturday-
- 11:00 AM - Come tailgate with FLW before the MSU Football game. There will be free food, free activities and a DJ will be playing some good music.
- 4:00 PM - Come back after the game and listen to **Jennifer Fox and the Pillowfighters** and watch the weigh-ins from the days tournament contestants.

Sunday-
- 4:00 PM - Free Nano iPod Giveaway

Monday-
- 4:00 PM - Free Food, MacBook Air Giveaway, National Guard Warrior Challenge Finals, and the Closing Ceremonies.

There is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. So come out and experience the Reel Life Festival at Stewart Stadium!!

Everyone should drop by and see the weigh ins. The guys fishing in these events are the future of our sport. They are getting the opportunity to do what we only dreamed of. The Murray State Bass Anglers have worked hard with FLW to put on a good show. They also have a team competing in the event and are the reigning National Collegiate Champions. They are always willing to help with anything we do, and we try to support them any way we can. I hope everyone else will too.

Nice job to my buddys Kevin and Casey from the Ohio State Team who had a good day 1 with 16 lbs. These guys are In the National Guard serving our country while getting their education. I sure wish there was something like this when i was in college. What a great deal the flw has for all these guys. Keep up the good work and good luck to all.

ranger rodney,what was your hardest class,stone tablet writting,also if you would have stayed you might have been able to spell college.

Too bad the Ohio boys got unlucky with their fish from day one. They reported catching that 16 pound day 1 sack out of the back of one of the Waterfowl refuge bays. Nov 1 they became off-limits. But at least they got 'um when they could. Today's weights should be posted soon. Go MSU!

MSU came in with one fish today but was able to only slip to the number 5 spot. They will be fishing tomorrow. Beth and I went today and had a good time for one on one father daughter time. She loves going to weigh ins, to see all the fish.

We should be on tv (VS) on November 29th, I think that is what they said. WE were on the 2nd row, saw the camera on us alot, due to the cuteness of my daughter. She was wrapped up in my coat and snuggled up real close to me to keep warm. Wish that Direct TV would bring VS back.

Somebody needs to be throwing a white 3/8 oz chatterbait on the secondary points in Big Bear Creek. I just got back from there Sunday and was there since Wed morning. I HAVE NEVER CAUGHT FISH LIKE WE DID THEN!!!!!!! Never left Bear Creek and had over 150 fish with daily keeper totals of 17, 11, 7 (Friday) and 10. Another boat in our group stayed in the same creek and had a little better numbers than us. On Friday (wind) they never left the Marina at Moors and had 15 keepers!!!!!!

Yep,looks like OSU pulled a maurice clarrett with the off limits deal, THE ohio state athletic dept needs to get it together, ..... that is terrible timing for a place to go off limits tho,need I always shed a tear for the buckeyes.
