Thad (t. jones), my nephew was in the camera boat today following Bobby Lane and he called me when they were running footage back in. I'm sure he'll come in with lots of great stories on here.

Well I must say this was an awesome experience! There was a two hour fog delay this morning. So my partner and I went out and done a little fishing while we waited. We had about 10lbs in an hr. That was cool. Didn't really expect to get in any fishing. 2 Hrs late they let the tournament go. It was unreal running down the lake this morning. I bet there was 150 boats heading south. The story all week was Bobby Lane's early morning 10 cast catches. I think there were 120 boats sitting there watching this guy. Lane's bite didn't pan out but he did get enough to win the tournament. While there Mark Zona pulls up riding in another boat wanting to get in with us for a ride back. We did get to hang out with Z-Man for a little while. That guy is a trip. He is no different in person than he is on t.v. Fun guy. I got to thank my partner that invited me to go. I just meet him yesterday and he was kind enough to invite me. Memorable Day!!!!!!!!!
Hey, you were one of the "flotilla"? Go over to ESPN and see that aerial photo of the specator boats watching Lane. It's pretty cool.

Yea it was unbelieveable the number of boats there. I saw those pics off of the bassmasters website. I wish they had a good one of the boats when they were running down the lake. It was out of control.
My brother rode with Rick Morris and Kelly Jordan,both busted 26lbs each day he was with them,he said it was freakin unreal watchin em wackem every cast,literally
