DO NOT attempt a turn into the driveway across the road from Ft Knox !!!! It could cause you to miss the graduation.
Sorry, I really dont have any info on motels or resturants. My time at Knox was spent on base at Govt expense.
I'd say the best in the area would be Raffertys on the north side of Elizabethtown. Its about 5 miles south of Radcliff on 31W. Lots of fast food in Radcliff. As far as hotels the newest ones would be at the I-65 and Elizabethtown interchange, there are several there. About a 20 min. drive to Knox.
theres a few in the radcliff area nothing special though,best bet would be e-town like mentioned above not too far either way by 31-w or joe prather hwy.you may wanna try to use mapquest and click on the hotel link or aaa even
Holiday Inn Express off of 313(Joe Prather Hwy) is new and pretty nice. Elizabtehtown has the Raffertys, Red Lobster, Tumbleweed on 31W around the Mall. Radcliff- Applebees and both of the Mexican restaurants are pretty good as well.
