LATE.....i've been bow hunting a couple times over the last 2 weeks and every morning sounds like opening day of gun season from all the road hunters. i know some people were shooting there guns to check their scopes,but not at the break of daylight on sunday morning.

nope not youth day...i hunt on the WMA( no gun season except quota hunt). just when its starts to break light you can gravel popping as a truck eases down the road....then...BOOOOOM..then gas it and take off....happens every year and lasts about a month

I used to hear that every year. Now I bowhunt in the city limits. Minimal gunfire.

I'll be in a tree in about 7 hours. I have 6 rifles out and ready to go. When your arming a whole family and friends it looks like an arsenal.

No luck yet... ...Took tom off so I'll get back out there again. Let 3 smaller bucks pass and saw about 8 does as well. Will shoot first deer I see tomorrow though, I want some backstrap. mmmmmm

Aron (A freinds son I'm also taking hunting, His dad's not around) killed a 170 lb 8 point with a 18" inside spread this morning from my stand while I was sitting with Lucas. We have seen over 13 different bucks but only a couple good ones. Lots of time left. I enjoy sitting and talking with Lucas as much as any of it anyway. Maybe thats the problem I think we are supposed to be quite, but we laugh a lot.
