Looks like it's a state owned lake way down in the far southeast part of the state. We don't have many people on here from there that I know of.
Sorry just got on the board today. It is a very small lake the feeds the Bell Co./pineville water system. Only 1 small ramp and no gas motors allowed. Very small population of smallmouth and some LM. Huge schools of trout. Very clear lake with some standing timber I think it was built in the early 70's.
I would not fish it at night do to all the break-ins that happen up the way. No lights, no security and no houses within a few miles.
This lake is in my home county.
I was born and raised in the cannon creek area. Stonewall pretty much summed it up.
Brad and Fred...Any good bass fishing down that way if I come down and go camping at Cumberland Gap area other that Cannon Creek? Oh and I would be fishing out of a 16' Tracker Grizzly Jon Boat with electric motors only....Gary
IM send back to you. My email addy is in my profile. Feel free to contact me with any questions you have.
When are you thinking about coming this way?
Looking to come down around Veteran's Day weekend as I always take one last trip during that weekend and am wanting to do some smallie fishing. Was also thinking with going to Dale Hollow or a float trip on the New River in WV. Usally hire a guide when I go on this trip, not sure why just do. Know of any good ones in any of those places? Maybe we could hook up and go out?
