    Changing shiftshaft seal 2003 25hp johnson any pointers ?

    When i removed LU to replace water pump impeller a paint chip flaked off the shiftshaft and got between o-ring and shaft. Do i have to remove LU again and also how do i remove o-ring ? thanks

    The reason i asked is it developed a small leak from o-ring and im getting a lil water in lube
