Fished there on Sat and Sun... Water is about 2 feet above summer pool...Water color is very good...Water temp is 42-46 degrees...But there are very few fish being caught...
Talked to a friend of mine today and he has won a lot of tourneys on Patoka in years past and he fished the IBF and blanked and I don't say this lightly he is an outstanding angler. Another friend of mine finished 2nd with 9 pounds and it only took 11 or 12 to win it. That's an unbelievable low weight for this time of the year, especially for a big tourney.
Fished the IBF and never had a bite in 2 days!![]()
Well Jason I guess I beat you. I had one bite on Saturday. Too bad the tournament was on Sunday. But we did look cool in our new boats didn't we?

Were any of ya'll fishin' a jerkbait???
uh huh i did a lot and I know when I seen Steve it looked like he was throwing one also
3 different jerkbaits, 4 different lipless crankbaits, 100 series Bandit, 200 series Bandit, football jig. My co-angler threw either a jerbait or a rattletrap all day. He caught a white bass, so I guess he smoked me. The good news is with all this rain, the lake will be completely different by this coming weekend.
