I've been hearin' of temps close to 50 degrees. I go now, like Noodler, said.
The water is back up quite a bit. Water temp on Sunday got up to 48.7. The fish are moving back in the creeks now. Most of my fish came on Main lake points on the inner wall headed into the creek. They were in 20-40 ft of water. They are starting to flash at the jerkbait in the creeks. I'd head down there sometime soon if I was you.
We are heading down there on the 29th. I am taking my son with me this year so I hope things are going pretty good. Hopefully some shallow (easier) bites!
Yeah I decided to wait until next week on Thursday to go. Jerkbait bite should be heating up. I don't believe it will happen this weekend. Do you all agree? Noodler
Not at all! I think the jerkbait is happening this weekend! Those fish were moving in them creeks last week and lots of guys were catchin fish on that fnf outside of the grass. I didn't get real cold this week at all, and I believe those fish have already committed! That's my opinion though!

i threw the jerk quite a bit the other day.... one flash... no takers.
me and herm (mrmomz19) are going back tommorow to attempt to finish the break in on his boat. if they are biting as well as they were sunday im sure we wont get much done

Rob called me just a little bit ago boated four and lost a couple still on the jig in 15-25 ft He threw the jerk but no takers. He said he was talking to some fellas that were catching them at Mitchell ripping them (suspending) and then letting them sit ...then after about 20secs they would kill it??? Noodler
