There is a course at the state park near the dam but I don't know the quality.
The course at the lodge in cadiz looks like a great course, thats the only one I have seen but that one looks real nice.

KENTUCKY DAM VILLAGE HAS A CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE- KENLAKE HAS A 9 HOLE COURSE, NO TEE TIMES NEEDED, VERY CHEAP TO PLAY THERE. BARKLEY STATE PARK HAS A GOOD 18 HOLE COURSE. MINERAL MOUNDS HAS A NEW COURSE LOOKS PRETTY TOUGH. HOPE THIS HELPS JIM
About 3 years ago I put a little trip together for about 10 of us at work to ky lake. We played Frances E. Miller in Murray (about 30 minutes from Kenlake) and Ky Dam Village. They were the nicest that we played that weekend. There is another one that is in Jonathon creek called Marvel that I was told was pretty nice too. Here's some links for you

there is a lot of the same between the pages but it pretty well covers most of them. You may have to do some searching off of the second page to find the websites for the courses.![]()
Ky Dam Village is probably the closest to where you will be though.
My neighbor at the campground plays a lot at Mineral Mounds when he comes in with his buddies.

Millers is a good one out east of Murray, its about 15 minutes from Ken Lake.
Ky. Dam Village State Park Course and Mineral Mounds in Kuttawa are the ones I would pick if you are staying on the North end. With an edge to Mineral Mounds since it has grown in. Boots Randolph at Barkley State Park if your staying south. All in good condition from reports I have heard.
Ky dam, or Barkley lodge would be my first 2 picks, followed by Miller in Murray. Mineral Mounds is a poor course design/ unenjoyable IMO. There is an Arnold Palmer course between the dam and Kenlake, but I have not played it.

I grew up playing at the Calvert City Country Club. Haven't really played it in a long time, but it was always a fun one. Not a real tough course, but nice to play...one of those courses that makes a bad golfer feel like he's really doing something!

When I was at Murray, Miller's was one I played a good bit with my fraternity brothers...needless to say I always played the back nine better, or at least I thought I did![]()

There are a few guys at work that played it early in the year and said it was a really nice course with a great layout. They play 3-4 times a week so I would trust them personally. Now that was before the no rain for 3 months too and most courses suffered pretty bad through that.
just one of those things are you guys getting alot of rain it hasnt stopped for 2 days now I thinking that I should get started on the ARK now![]()
As of about an hour ago I've had 5 1/2 inches since yesterday morning.who screwed up the damn rain dance?
