I knew it was going to happen.

Been !#@$$%in and moaning all summer about needing rain. Planning to head for The Twins tomorrow morning for 5 days, and they are calling for severe weather tomorrow. We haven't had a weather watch or warning all summer, and now late in October we get one (and it extends all the way down there. I'm forced to admit, I'm jinxed

I bet so. The weather is supposed to be pretty nice over the weekend. Little windy Friday, about 17mph.

I just got off the water...it was fun out there today...no way you want to be out there tomorrow...Friday is iffy at best right now. Drew and those guys in the BFL are not gonna have a fun day tomorrow.

Re: I knew it was going to happen. (Dave Stewart)

I think I'm going to head down early Friday instead of tomorrow afternoon. Most of the forecasts are calling for a pretty good shot at strong storms about 10 tomorrow night, and 17mph winds from WSW Friday. I'd rather not be camping in strong storms, and I'll only lose about 4 hours of fishing anyway.

I think I recognize that water. I got an up close look at 50 or 60 gallons of it running off my front deck onto the floor right outside Sugar last Spring.

Looking at the radar tonight makes me glad I'm home and not down there. Looks like heck from the middle of Indiana all the way down south of the lakes.

Been dodging tonadoes here this evening...one came right over us like the one that hit The Moors last time....have not heard of any damage in this area...it was on the ground down around Mayfield before it got here...another one headed this way coming out of of Tennessee in a little bit. Makes me glad I have a basement.

It came across the lake from The Moors towards Eddyville. I live right up the road behind the penitentiary & all we got was some heavy rain & a little hail. No tornado's thank goodness. I hope there was no damage or injuries anywhere.

A lot of rain here, so far. Enough to make my roof leak in two places.
Talked to Drew, earlier. His truck has broken down and no way to launch tomorrow. Been trying to call him back and offer the use of my truck, but can't get through.

I don't know Drew or how to contact him but Drew if you read this or if someone talks to him, he is welcome to my chevy truck for the rest of the weekend & even to get him home if need be. My home # 270-388-0252.

Re: I knew it was going to happen. (buzzking2001)

Survived the night here...power has been on and off all night..just talked to my client for today and he has been sitting on the road to Shawnee Bay Resort for a while now with a powerline that is hanging down about 4 ft above the road....no power crews in sight so I called the electric company....told the guy about it and he wanted to know the name of the road...told him I did not know for sure but it was the road leading into Shawnee Bay Resort...I asked him if he had a county map and he said no...now how in hell do you provide service in the county if you don't have a damn map.
