    Moving to Alabama.

I posted this in the lounge, but thought I'd mention it here. Sold my house yesterday, will close in two weeks or so, and I'm headed to far south Alabama on Tuesday to look for a house. No more Indiana winter!!!

Boilermaker fan??? Your kidding...right?? I would have thought you would want to make a good impression on your new neighbors. They're going to lose all respect for you before you even arrive!

I look at it this way John...being a Boiler fan will get me more respect than being an IU fan...granted...not MUCH more respect...but a little more. I'll decide after I get down there, whether to fly my big gold flag with the large black "P" on it.

Good job of selling the house(especially the way the market is right now) and getting to find you your perfect retirement home
Just make sure you are going to have plenty of room for fishing company

No problem Rodney. Probably the Mobile Delta and the Tensaw will be my primary places to fish. But Lay, Jordan, Logan Martin and Mitchell lakes are only about 3plus hours away!! I plan to go up there a lot!!!

welcome to the Heart of Dixie! Dont know about the southern end, but I know when I am 30 minutes from Pickwick and Guntersville and 5 minutes from Wheeler, Bass fishing is a year round thing and a plentifull resource. Roll Tide!

I love fishing Pickwick, it is full of those smallies. I had a ball up there a few years ago, we got in a school of smallies and caught six five pounders in six cast, WOW, on DD22.

I fished some lakes in the Coosa chain with Texasbamabass last winter and early spring. I will be making the drive up to that area frequently. Also plan to take a few trips each year to Guntersville.

I'll definitely miss reading your local reports from IN bodies of water.

Bill: I know that you have been looking forward to this move for a long time now and happy for you but it is our loss not having you in the local area here. Hopefully, you will make it back up here for the rally next spring.
