has a little melt down month or so ago on the main engine wiring, it activated the slow system on me wouldn't go over 2500rpm and the voltage regulator quit, after cool down and on water muffs in driveway ran ok, no charging or tach though installed a regultor ok, took it out slow was activating for no reason, shut off engine unhooked temp senors, restart same thing I figure the harness was damaged, managed to find a 92-94 harness on e-bay and hooked it up now it sounds and runs on 3 cyl and smokes like crazy looks like it dropped a litre of 2 stroke oil right out the exhaust, noe I am thinking it's a defective power pack , but am curious if a slightly newer harness would require a different power pack and sensor anyway, anyone have any ideas?

took the air silencer off and it was full of fuel, looks like all the screws came loose in the fuel primer and the top of the vro unit, once tightened up and it ran great on the muffs, then wouldn't shut off ran on 3 cyl key off, tightented the connector in the power pack black/yellow ground all ok now
