Nice boat

I ran a 1987 Aries 167 Bass with a 115 hp Suzuki for about 7 years until I upgraded last year. They are all handlaid and nicely put together. Looks like this one has been well maintained and shows little age! I sure wish I knew how they do their gelcoat, because on my old boat at 20 years of age, it still shined like new!

I was very sad to learn that they recently went out of business I guess a quality made boat at a cheap price just isn't enough to compete against the major manufacturers of today's market. Over the years, Aries changed their hulls very little, but I guess you have to constantly change to keep up with the buyers' wants, demands, and expectations. My little 167 will always grace my memories for it was my first bass boat and one of my most treasured possessions for those seven years.
