I went to Green River Lake Friday and the weather was high 50s but at the tail end of a cold spell. Water temp was mid to upper 50s. Saturday Sunday Monday and Tuesday we had high temperatures around 80. The water jumped to mid 60s and the fish responded buy heading straight to the backs of the coves and building nests. Monday and Tuesday I found probably 15 nest but only one of them had a large female locked on it. Most of them had small bucks just circling around like sharks. I actually saw one nest that had four males that averaged 2 pounds circling around one nest. I suck at bed fishing gave up a long time ago. From what I saw today you need to target the 4-8 ft deep water... that is where the staging females are and yes they want to bite before they go to bed![]()
I guess this post belongs in the fishing report forum but I posted it here to see if anybody else had seen any bedding activity?
