Will we see a drop in support....

KY basketball has a long deep rich heritage of being a dominate name in college basketball. We now know they're in fact going to keep Tubby in office for years to come (or so it seems).

IF, we see a continuing downfall of the program will we see boosters threaten to pull out if changes aren't made???

This of course is over the course of two years predicting that the program will continue at its current rate.

Tubby should have been tossed when he continued to let his crappy son play instead of other better players. I love KY basketball but I hate Tubby ball with a passion and I cannot stand to see how lazy the team is. I will be watching all the games when they name a new head coach until then I have better things to do.

    I love Tubby ball.

Now,Now Kyle. Dont get your thong in a wad up there. I'm just tugging y'alls chain a little and I sure love the way it works. Have ya forgotten all the years that UK spanked the Gators in B'ball? For that fact I could not have even told you who Noah was untill today. I'm just waiting for Football season to get back But I can tell you every new recruit playing spring ball down there.

Aaron...I really don't care all that much since I'm not a Ky fan. But I would hate to see a school with such a rich basketball tradtion go down the tubes. Plus since I'm a Purdue Boilermaker fan, I want Ky basketball to be at least good enough to beat IU each year!! I love to see the Hoosiers get beat! Hope they get things back on track down there!

Yeah, I've got my favorites which doesn't consist of KY but I just hate to set here and watch a great program go down the tubes.

Kentucky is still Kentucky. You guys don't give other programs their due. Tubby plays a very tough schedule, hardest in the country this year and every single team in the country has top quality athletes and is capable of beating any other team on a given night. SEC has come light years in the last couple of decades. UK used to only have to show up at an SEC game. That certainly is not true any more. No team, including Kentucky will ever dominate like teams of yesteryear. Too many great programs, coaches and players.

Personally I think DUKE fans have a lot more to complain about then you UK fans do. Duke ALWAYS gets seeded VERY high so they usually have a VERY easy trip to the Sweet 16. Seeded 1 or 2 almost every year for the last decade they have one final 4 in the last 7 or 8 years.

As far as Tubby's style of play, If I am not mistaken, UK averaged more points per game this year than did Louisville.

I could be wrong but I don't care who coaches Kentucky in the future, you still are not going to rack up rack up the wins like you used to unless you pack your non-conference schedule with no-body's like UConn does and you switch to a Mid-Major Conference.

Basically, I don't think Kentucky has fallen very far, I think MANY other programs have taken giant steps to catch up which is something you can't control.

Bill, maybe I should rethink my rooting for Purdue in last nights game against Arizona. Being an Indiana Team and a Big Ten Team I always root for Purdue except for when they play IU. Oh well to each their own!

Besides I do LOVE to watch a good basketball game at Purdue's Mackey Arena!! It is truly a Great place to watch a game as there are absolutely NO NCAA Championship Banners to impede your view!

Re: Will we see a drop in support.... (Passion 4 Bassin)

I've always been a UK fan and always will. Also, I agree with John I think any team can be beat on any given night.
Most of these kids coming out of high school that are in the top 100 could care less about getting an education. And you're lucky if they go to college at all. It's tough to recruit a kid that will only play a year or two at the college level.
I don't live UK basketball like I did at one time. Priorities change as you get older. But I still get disappointed when they lose.

I've bled blue all my life, but I have a real hard time watching games now (I think I've seen 5 in the past 3 years). It just doesn't seem like Tubby's teams know fundamentals, nor do they have any confidence as a team. It's rare to see them dominate anyone these days.

I don't know about the KY fans, but this IU fan thinks that is VERY FUNNY!!!
