Going fishing tomorrow and went to tie on a bait or two. Somehow I left the key on and the crankin' battery is flat! I have a 2bank charger so I hooked up my other charger. Hope it's charged by morning...![]()

That sucks. Hope it works for you this morning. I did that once last year....I figure I pulled the switch over while I was putting the cover on the boat. Did not notice it until the next morning when I took the cover off to leave to pick up my clients...not enough time for charging so it cost me the price of a new battery for a "quick fix" in order to save the guide trip.....![]()
Dang that wouldn't be a good way to start the day..(for either of you)
Little differnet circumstances for you Dave,,,we just miss a day of fishing.![]()
I just happened to reach in my boat last week to check something and noticed my power switch was on![]()

. That thing had to be on for nearly a month. Battery was so dead charger wouldn't bring it up. I just replaced this battery last year
.
To bring it up I put my charge on one of my trolling motor batteries then put jumper cables over to the dead starter battery. I did do some checks with my multi-meter to make sure I wasn't hurting the charged battery. Thank goodness she took a charge.
That's a great idea. I'll have to remember that one. I'm guilty of leaving the power switch on at least once a season. It stinks when you don't find it until you ready to pull out of the driveway.
