I will keep this post pinned to keep track of what everyone is contributing. Let me know if something changes and we will add or delete it from the list.

If you have something that I can add to the list let me know. I don't want to add anything that is a "maybe" just in order to stay organized. What we need:

Fishfinder or two(David Page has some older ones)
Batteries
On-board charger
Perko Latches
Bow & Stern Lights
Bilge pumps

I am sure we add to the "need" list as we go.

I have a Garmin Fishfinder 240 that doc gave to me that I could give you all...I just have the unit and the mounts for it, but if you guys could use it, its all yours....

hey Mike I got a idea I want to pass by ya. I`ve got this 1996 Javelin Fish and ski thats a 18ft. It as all new seats, carpet and wired for a trolling motor. The guy wants 1500 for the boat,,,he`s lost alot of money on it due to the motor blowing up. The trailer is in great shape with brakes. What if I can get him to donate it and you give him a paper saying he did so he can take it off he`s taxes. He`d be better off. This is a great looking boat all ready. Everything works on it, just needs trolling motor,depth finders,,ect. If Matt would take this 150 johnson and rebuild it that would be great too.

Let's see what Matt comes up with first. I am not quite sure how the donation would work as far as a tax deduction goes since there is a third party involved and some work to be done before passing it along to whoever wins it. That is a good thought.

Mike, I don't have anything lying around to donate but I'd like to contribute. I'd be glad to provide a battery, or a charger, or whatever odds and ends we find that are needed when the time comes. I'm also up for drinking some of David's beer and providing some labor

Anytime you plan to put some work in on this thing just let me know. A master of anything I am not but as long as the cowl stays on I can just about do anything else. Just give us a heads up when the ball gets rolling

Matt has been extremely busy getting through the boat show season. I am going to leave him alone on this and we will regroup afterwards. This will give us all a little breathing room and time to really get this thing in perfect condition

Let's start over. Keep in mind that I have no boat and that is the first step. I am going to talk with Tony Reynolds in the next couple of weeks, I know he has a motor, but I will check into a hull.

Perhaps the proceeds form this next raffle should partially go towards a decent hull. I'd like some thoughts on that since I am not making any executive decisions here, but the boat raffle would be huge if we did it right, so it may be worth it.
