For those of you just arriving on this, Dave stewart has made a deal with us that if we could raise a bunch of money for Trooper Island, he would wear this hat:



During one of his seminars at the boat show in Lexington at Rupp Arena this year. this will be priceless and definately proves that Dave Stewart puts the kids of Kentucky ahead of his own ego.

Cmon guys...if I remember right it basically costs 100.00 per kid to go to the Trooper Island Camp. Right now we can only send 1.5 kids to camp this summer with the money's collected (not counting Ed's volunteering to make up the difference between what is collected and the 300.00 I said it would take to get me to wear that hat in front of the crowd at the boat show)

Not asking for much...just 10.00 or 20.00 from everyone would send a bunch of kids to camp this year...plus get some public recognition for Trooper Island and maybe a few donations there at the show after I explain to the folks why I am wearing Mike's stupid hat. I get paid the same for doing the show whether I wear the hat or not...

Mike I need to know how to send the $20 to you. I would prefer to use paypal but I've never used it for anything other than ebay. Give me some instruction and the money will be on it's way.

George...depends on when my seminars are scheduled and Mike's availability also....the Lexington Boat Show is the same weekend as the Dale tournament...first weekend in February.
