I've got the Oakley Half Jacket sunglasses, and I am going to get a new set of polarized lenses. Question is, what color will be the best to go with for fishing in low-light to partly cloudy conditions? I'm looking for something that's close to the Solarbats Moss Green color, if anyone has any ideas / experiences, please share...
I have used Amber lenses in the past and have had good luck with them.....not saying that that is THE lense to go with but it will depend a lot on your eyes and how well you can see with an Amber lense.....asfar as polarized goes....i think most of them will be OK in lower light condition but you could look into a lighter grey lense too......all i know is I tried a "Red" lense once and could see much in the water at all.....and that was Oakley.......Solarbat moss green is still good for that But I currently have a pair of Flying Fisherman lenses that work great in most light conditions
they are a Smoke Blue lense
I am pretty sure you want amber lenses for low light. Tan/Brown/Copper also work well.
I wear mine a lot when it clouds up a little and starts raining they actually brighten surroundings up.
The Oakley's I have the lenses are really dark compared to my Maui Jim's and I thought these would let in too much light. The strange thing is my Maui Jim's are so much more comfortable to wear than my Oakley's. I think the Oakley's did not filter out the same light which makes a big difference.

I appreciate your input, only thing is, I was wondering about a particular color in the amber family; ie. Gold Iridiium, VR28 /gold iridium, Bronze, or titanium...
