Mike sorry I missed this one but I would like to point out something for the people that visit this board and may not be familiar with the Dale Hollow size limit.

Ky state minimum limits
6 black bass
12" largemouth
12" smallmouth
spots no size limit

The KY Dept of Fish and Wildlife allows lakes to increase the size limit on fish. Most lakes have moved the limit up to 15" but Dale hollow has a trophy management system.

Smallmouth 1 over 21" and 1 between 12"but less than 16" anything 16"-21" must be released immediately

Last winter I fished in one of the winter rallies with Daniel and we estimated that our best 5 smallmouth were 17 lbs but we did not bring a smallmouth to the scales but I do like the trophy management they have on their bass. I would say there are more 5 plus pound (non keepers ) swimming in Dale Hollow than any other lake in the country.
