    GPS

Finally got a god day to set outside and be able to put my new to me GPS unit on. Now I just have to figure out how to work the thing. That book is too long to read.

Might try to get out tom and give her a test run, if the rain holds off.

    Thanks again Ed.

Congrats on the unit Eric! You are going to LOVE it!

By the way, went to Hooters this past Wed. Night with the family, my son turned 16 and spoke with Ashley. She was kind enough to pose for a picture with him. She is a real sweetheart! (By the way they got there before me by a LOT or I would have asked for her as our server)

What kind did you get Eric. If it's a Lowrance you can go to the website and download the emulator.

Eric no problem, glad you are satisfied with the unit. As far as the emulator goes not sure they will have it on Lowrance's web page sense that unit is no longer made, but its worth a look see. If you get stuck on something and don't want to read the book shoot me a IM or Email and will try to help you out. But then again I did not learn all the little tricks you can do with that unit either

Exactly Buck. So the next time I fish I'll know where not to go.

I didn't get a chance to take it out today but will definetly next weekend.

I'll have to check up on that emulator, not even sure what you guys are talking about.

I think an emulator is an infomercial product that massages the bottom of your feet.

Eric the emulator is a program you can down load that is just like having the unit in your computer. You can use it just like you unit on the boat. The link I gave above is to the LMS unit you bought from me. Hope it helps you figure it out. If nothing else you can learn what buttons NOT to push In case you have not figured it out yet Overlay info is stuff like temp and speed you can have show on the screen at all times.

    Re: GPS (EdDavisKY)

I have the Map Create 6 for my GPS and I love it. I just put my hotspot card in the reader and pull up lakes I plan to fish. Then I can go through and mark all the waypoints of places I want to fish then put the card back in my handheld. For me my screen is too small to really try and read the map and determine good spots on the water.
