Dale Hollow Mini Rally II????

Guys, do we want to make this a 1 day or a 2 day? Buck can't talk to the guy abou the island until Tuesday but we need to know if we are staying Friday and Saturday night. Also, I need a head count.

yeah...a close headcount (who will stay at the island) will be needed and I wont be able to call until Tuesday. Apparently, the freakin state workers think they need Friday AND Monday off of work. If nobody else has reserved it there should be no problems though.

**Proposition**--All anglers arriving at the island can just put there stuff on the dock and we will "shuttle" it up later after the fishing is done and beverages are being had. (Wont have to come in at 3 pm Mike )

If you are staying at the island with us I would suggest sleeping bag, pillow, shower stuff, whatever food you want to eat and big bucket to put all the crap in that will be told in the kitchen at night.

Everyone bring some food. Whether this is a 1 or 2 day, we should all come prepared to feed ourselves. One of these days Buck may be able to let us use the kitchen and I'll cook you boys a decent meal.

You have ovens and stoves in the cabins, and at least one had a microwave which anyone can use.

Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel(if you plan to wash your arse), soap and shampoo.

what about plates, pots and pans, things to eat with etc....don't know about all you kids but I have to eat and I eat a LOT when its cold out....meaning a side of beef :)) or half a elk

OK Hopefully Hopefully Hopefully I will be able to make it in my new boat (to me). I am going to go look at it and take it for a test run next saturday. I wont know if I can make the rally for a while but for right now its looking like a maybe!

I will ask about the kitchen for this trip if you guys would like. Each "lodge" has a small kitchen but if we want to use the big one I will check. **Disclaimer**.....I EAT but DONT COOK (will assist with clean up though)

Joe...the muck boots should be enough unless a select few have too much then you will need the boots, bucket and a tarp.

There has never been a problem with anything being stolen from the dock but you know how that goes. Not sure when Mike and I are heading down (Friday or Saturday) but maybe we can set a time like 5pm for everyone to have their stuff at the dock for the "shuttle" runs without reverse. Last time Mike and I came in at 2pm and it killed me to be sitting on the island when I know I could have been catching a six pound smallie. Whenever Mike decides when we will head down we can work this out. I should know for sure about the island on Tuesday night.

Daniel is not allowed to fish within 100 yards of the dock and MUST be in a boat when fishing. We feed those fish around the dock and he cant be soremouthing anymore of our pets. Those fish would hit a lead weight. He will need to find the fish on the lake like the rest of us. (OK...we dont feed them and it was crazy to watch him fnf off of the dock and catch the fish, however, I am trying to keep this from going to his head)

I hear you get in his head... If I was a betting man i would say this tournment will be won on a multiple pole shiner combo with downriggers. He will have his first mate changing baits all day while the captain runs the boat.
