When does Dale Hollow Turn on?

I went this spring but I believe it was a little late and during post spawn. Trying to decide where to go for 3 days the weekend of Oct. 21-23

Thought about maybe Rough River or Barren. Would like to go to Ky Lake but that a good 4 hour drive.

Any suggestions or should I just wait until that week to decide and see where the fish are hitting.

The sows will turn on when you have to wear gloves and long underwear under your coveralls to fish. Trust me, the colder and nastier the better.

Buck I was hoping you would chime in on this one. How did you fair in the Central Kentucky Bassmasters? Now that I got my boat running where I need it I think next year I will be involved. I just wish they would pull Herrington and Yatesville out of the lineup.

If they do not do one let me know when you want to make a trip to DH, and can figure it from there. DH is only about 15 -20 mins. farther from me than Barren.

Two bass boats collided this weekend at DH. I know one died instantly. Theirs was two fishermen in each boat. My mom was down at Star point where they e-vac the injured and brought the damaged boats in.

I heard that it was suspected that the sun glisering off the surface was blinding the guy??? I was thinking the same thing but my mom said it wasn't foggy that morning, who knows. I think one boat got T-boned. The top boat went over passenger killed the driver and completely ripped the engine off they thought until they used a lift and found the engine hanging by the control and steering cables.
