I have a 1991 Stratos. Would like to know how you can tell when lower unit seals are out on a 1991 evinrude.When you trim the motor down sometimes I have oil come out of the prop.Any help is appreciated.

If you crack the bottom drain screw and water comes out it is a pretty good sign the lower unit is getting water in it.
