I bought a new left over 2009 Triton 220 LTS. Has any one ever had a Triton with a RoadRunner trailer? This is my 4th Triton boat. This is what happened.
The boat was purchased 2 months ago from North Texas Marine. It was a left over 2009 model. However it had never been used and never in water. The warranty was to start the day I bought it. After bringing it to Corpus Christi Tx, the Break Actuator went out and the Calipers stuck on triler. The breaks froze up and the boat and trailer had to be towed off the interestate. The poor workemship of the trailer parts almost lead to an accident on a Trailer that was new ! I have owned 11 previous boats, 4 Tritons, and I have never seen anything like this. There employee suggested that it be towed to there shop? That is 8 hours away! That is ridiculous. I had no other choice but to have the boat trailer repaired here in Corpus Christi.

North Texas Maine sent them the bill in hopes they would stand behind there warranty. There employee just kept saying the boat has to brought back to your shop to be fixed. That is simply not possible for people that do not live near there shop.

I thought a fair resolution to this problem would have been the following. To have them send a check for the amount it would have cost to have these items fixed at there shop. I realize it will not cover the entire cost but at least it would be something. I still have the defective parts and offered to mail them to there office for there inspection.

I have never had anything like this happen in all my years of boating. Any one else had problems with roadrunner trailers?
