    another bearing buddy question????

I have bearing buddies on my Ranger trail trailer 1990 and repack my bearings at least every year just replaced the seals and repacked. Now I filled the bearing buddy as much as I could before putting it on and then made a couple shot trips then pumped some more grease in .How often do you need to add grease and where does it go as long as seals are not leaking or bad?????

I'm not the local expert, but I've been told that as long as you can rock the inner blue portion, you'll be ok. That is what I use as my guide stick; if it rocks, I don't add any more. From everything I've read, many problems come from too much grease and pushing out the rear seal. Keep a watch on your wheels, both front and back. Grease on the back may be evidence of a worn or going bad rear seal. Grease on the front may be caused from normal seepage or something else.

    Good luck.
