My '09 Etec 200HO went down on me this weekend while fishing a tournament, I idled out of a canal (about 4 minute idle) and went to put it on plane, boat ran up to 3000 rpms then seemed to start missing on 1-2 cylinders. Wouldn't get on plane, max of 3000 rpms, no alarms or warning lights, never went into safe mode. I pulled the top two plugs on the left side after I idled in for 2 hours, both were black, don't know if that's due to the original issue or the long idle. Just dropped it off at the shop, I have the Evinrude warranty until 2015 so I expect to have a satisfactory ending to the story. Has this happened to anyone else, not sure what to think it is. Mike
