    2008 Marine Master brakes sticking

Left rear hub is hot and wheel is dirty. This happens occasionally but I have been able to free them by hard braking and reverse then forward again. How can I resolve this? Thanks

Re: 2008 Marine Master brakes sticking (196 Bobby)

You might examine the piston boot on the caliper. If it is cracked and broken, it may be allowing dirt/debris to hinder the piston action. Have you tried bleeding the brakes yet? If it was actuator related, it should affect both calipers. Removing and lubing the 2 slider pins will most likely help also. Pin torque is 35 ft lbs when re-installing. If you are not able to figure out the problem, call me on Wed @ 931-967-5101 ext 16.

Re: 2008 Marine Master brakes sticking (DABS)

I've had the brakes bled a few months ago. It didn't help. I don't know squat about brakes but I'll remove the tire and see what I see. Thanks for the reply.
