outer rubber cap/cover on wheel bearing torn/ripped?

Well on one side of my trailer the rubber cap or cover has a rip or tear in it. Its leaking grease to the outer part of the rim. Can I just easily fix this with a new cap/cover?

And do you guys think the bearing is still good? Its been in the water a few times since I notced it so there is probably water in there?

This is my first boat and have never dealt with a trailer bearing before. And this is for a 2000 nitro nx882.

Would I just be able to go to a marina to pick up a replacement cover? And last question.

How do I remove the whole cap? Do I need to take off the rim and brakes or can I just slide the cover off?

Those are just dust caps. The bearings should be fine as long as you keep enough grease in them to maintain pressure. You can get them at any marine or on line at cabela's. If you need to remove the bearing buddies they just pop off like any auto dust cap.
