    Brake Dust

I have more brake dust one wheel vs the other. It is a brand new trailer not sure what to check.

    TIA

Make sure your pads are lubricated at the points where they slide in the caliper. The lube will allow them to release easier when brakes are not applied.

Also, could check to make sure caliper piston is retracting once you let off brakes.

All that said, it is not unusual to have one side which the pads have a little more friction due to these release issues than the other side. As you have said, you can tell from the amount of brake dust, but you can also tell from one hub being a little warmer to the touch on a road trip.

Once the pads are checked for lube and proper movement is verified, a few hundred miles should even things out
