    Loadmaster Trailer question

I am considering purchasing a single axle trailer to replace my dual axle trailer. I contacted loadmaster and they can build one for my boat with a heavy duty single axle with electric sealed submersible drum brakes. Anybody have any experience with this brand of trailer and electric brakes?

    Re: Loadmaster Trailer question (docirv)

Not sure that I'd be wanting electric brakes; I'm sure they're sealed and all, but why not just go with surge brakes?
And why a single to replace a tandem....how big's your boat Doc?

I need a more easily maneuverable trailer to get into my garage. I might just sell the boat and get a smaller one with a single axle trailer if the replacement trailer does not work out.

Doc, I'll trade ya my Skeeter for your Ranger. My 18'5" Skeeter has a single axle.

Dont do drum brakes if you can avoid it.. Stainless steel discs are a better choice.
