My wife has a Trailblazer with a 4.2 cid. I would not recommend it.
I think I remember B.A.S.S publicly endorsing the Trailblazer as a great tow vehicle, claming that you get V8 power with V6 gas mileage. Having owned a Trailblazer myself, I can tell you that in most terrains, it will pull an average sized 18-19 ft. boat just fine. But the gas mileage is no better and it didn't feel as stable driving down the road, i.e. stopping, turns, etc. I am much more comfortable towing with a full sized truck. But to answer your question, the Trailblazer will tow it.
