    Triton trailer jack

Want to replace the trailer jack on my Triton trailer looked on Fulton's web site and there is a lot of different ones, mine has the welded piece and the jack is held on with a big c clip, no bolts, anybody know what this type is called, I just need the jack only. also it has a 800# now and want to replace with a 1200# will the hole in the middle be the same size and fit.

Re: Triton trailer jack (red 186)

When mine went bad I went through at least 6 tries trying to get the right one never did even from the triton dealer - got tired of messing with it. I finally just took an agle grinder and removed the bracket welded to the trailer. Repaint the spots on the trailer and get one of the jacks that is held to the frame with ubolts. Bass Pro or Academy both have several different ones.

Contacted Fulton and was told mine was made in the US and the new ones are made in China and mine is obsolete and the new ones won't fit it, imagine that

Go to a Tractor Supply. Buy their brand of jack, take the retaining clip off the new one, throw away and re-use your Fulton retaining clip. Fits and looks just like original. The new clip is a hair thicker and would not mount with new jack and old mount that is on the trailer. Let me know if you need details such as part number. I believe I can still read it on my new jack. It is the only one that carry with that style of retaining clip and exact mount as the Fulton.
