    Jacking a tandem trailer

This is my first tandem trailer. I got a nail in the side wall and was wondering where is the best place to place the jack on the trailer?

Ummm? Under the axle that you have to jack up? But make sure you chock the other side wheels. And if you have a jack stand or 2...place one under the tongue. Sometimes the trailer jack can slip out when you jack up the trailer. Not that it has happened to me, but the possibility is there. Had it happen to a friend of mine at a shop.

    Get one of these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...95069
Drive up with the good wheel and remove the bad. It works exactly as designed!

I made one by stacking 3--- short pieces of 2x6 on top of each other staggered for pulling the good tire upon. Works great and no messing with a jack.
