Spring shackles

Anybody know what grade metal spring shackles for leaf springs is made of?
Thinking about making or having a custom set made. Need 4.5 or 4.75 center to center. Have not been able to find any.....yet

Nothing special, just use a good grade of steel.

You could get a longer set, and cut them down and redrill the bolt hole. Could even leave them long and just drill the hole where you need it as long as you put the extra length down.
