I had a tire go down on my tandem axle boat trailer, no big deal. But I noticed when I took it off that the tire was wearing more on the outside than the inside. It's not terrible and I still have decent tread but I just wondered if any of you rotate the tires on your trailer?

I don't put alot of miles on mine in a year, but I can tell you I have NEVER rotated mine. In fact, I've never even thought about it. I'm interested in seeing responses to this as well.

I never have rotated trailer tires.
It would never hurt to rotate the tires on a tandem trailer. Each tire may wear a little different depending on the weight loading on each axle and the tongue hieght. When you make sharp turns or hard cuts backing up, this drags the tires sideways. If you have certain places where you regularly do this it may wear each tire in a different way.
