Anybody ever replace the wear sleeves on their trailer? I not sure what to use to remove the old ones or what i need to put the new ones on.

He's talking about what UFP calls the L-ring, it is pressed onto the spindle, the lips of the seal ride on it...You can tap it off with a screw driver....you'll need to find a pipe or long socket with the right diameter to install a new one ...call Dennis at UFP for help to get a new one...he can be reached at 800-835-9211 ext 16..

Are you asking about the "race" ?? The part the bearing rides on.??
No Lyn is correct. Just a steel cap that the rubber part of the inner hub bearing rides on.

the l-ring can be removed with pliers by lightly grabbing the spindle stock just past the l-ring, then, use a hammer to rap on the pliers, driving the press-fit l-ring off the spindle. An old inner bearing makes a dandy tool for driving the new one back on.
