there is a small shock absorber in the actuator that is probably worn out, depending on which brand it is, it can be replaced without too much work.

You probably have a little slack in your receiver hitch. I used to hear that, may pin that I used to hold the hitch in was a little small for the hole and when stopped it would allow slack. I got a bigger locking pin and the noise was gone.
you either need to rebleed or you have a bad shock...

rebleed the system....first you need to determine what brand actuator, then get the manual...if it's UFP all the info is here....ufpnet.com...
Its a model A60 . will also need the break away cable
