I have an ez-loader single axle trailer. I don't know if I have brakes on it or not.
I don't put many miles on it and have liqua-lube bearings on it, have never had to pull the wheels off.

Big, boxy tongue on the trailer with a fill port for brake fluid if you have brakes.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
nothing else matters.
Unplug your trailer and try to back up a hill. If it stops, you have brakes. If not you will either have to bleed the brakes or you don't have any installed. Most all brake systems have a breakaway cable installed in case you lose the trailer. If you have a small cable to attach with an S hook, you have a brake system.
