Hey, easy with the 40 yr. old thing
The springs have a bushing in the closed eye end or ends depending on the style of spring. If it is a C-hook spring it will probably have steel and plastic bushing in the open eye end and a plastic bushing in the closed eye. Give us a call if you have any questions.
